Using Navi with Linear
Linear is where product and engineering teams track work. Navi can create issues, update them, comment, and roll up cycles — all from a chat, without context-switching into a ticketing tool.

What Navi can do in Linear today
- List and search issues with filters by assignee, state, priority, or query.
- Read an issue in full — description, comments, metadata.
- Create new issues in any team you have access to, with title, description, priority, state, and assignee.
- Update issues — change state, reassign, reprioritize, edit the description.
- Comment on issues.
- Manage projects — list, create, update.
- Manage cycles — list and create cycles/sprints.
- List teams, labels, states, and users in your workspace.
Connect Linear
Open the Tools panel in Navi, find Linear, and click Connect. You'll go through Linear's OAuth screen — pick the workspace you want Navi to work in.
Use cases
Capture an issue from a Notion page
Prompt
I just wrote a bug report on my "Bugs to file" Notion page about the login failure. Create a Linear issue in the Engineering team with that description, priority High, assigned to Dan. Link back to the Notion page in the Linear description.
End-of-week status roll-up
Prompt
Pull every Linear issue I closed this week. Group them by project. Write a short status update in a casual tone.
Triage a product manager's morning
Prompt
Show me all Linear issues assigned to my team with priority Urgent or High that haven't been updated in the last 3 days. Summarize what's stuck and who's blocked.
Create a cycle
